DUSTY LIMIT’S – DOOM & GLITTER

The Black Cat Presents: DOOM & GLITTER is a tribute to thhttp://www.theblackcat.info/wp-content/uploads/2026/07/Dusty-300×298.jpge tarnished golden age of Berlin cabarets, where vile bodies moved through a haze of smoke, drinking and dancing in scintillating splendour, while outside the shadows gathered.

Friedrich Hollander and Mischa Spoliansky were the brilliant composers who captured the spirit of the age in songs of longing and liberation, illusion and delusion, from Falling In Love Again to I Am A Vamp and dozens more. Celebrations of a Zeitgeist that seems all too relevant today.

Cabaret legend Dusty Limits (host of The Black Cat Cabaret: Salon des Artistes) and their collaborator Steve Edis deliver a selection of these songs, including fresh translations and new interpretations, together with an unhealthy dose of shaded glamour.
